BTC's President and Founder
Kenneth C. Bator, President of Bator Training & Consulting, has two decades of experience in management, marketing, and sales in the financial-services category. The vast majority of this experience has been as an executive of two corporate credit unions in the Midwest – both over $1 billion in assets – as well as a natural-person credit union in California. Bator has facilitated several training and strategic planning sessions for credit unions and small businesses across the country. He is also a co-founder of the Police Officers’ Credit Union Conference. Bator has earned a BS in Finance and an MBA in Entrepreneurship from DePaul University as well as a Certificate in Integrated Marketing from the University of Chicago. His articles have appeared in The Credit Union Journal, ABA Bank Marketing, and the Michigan Credit Union League Gazzette.

As a Chartered Financial Analyst, a Chartered Economist, and a Certified Financial Manager, Butler has advised several financial institutions including Deutsche Bank, Bank of America, Nippon Bank, Royal Bank of Canada, and JP Morgan Chase. His credit union experience includes consulting engagements with two large corporate credit unions in the Midwest, both well over $1 billion in assets, as well as a number of natural-person credit unions varying in asset size. Butler has also served as an expert witness in several cases related to the financial industry.
Butler’s extensive education includes a BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences and BS in Economics from the University of Illinois, an MBA from the University of Chicago, and a PhD in Philosophy in Econometrics also from the University of Chicago. He is a member of the Atlas Economics Society and the Center for Economic Policy and Research.

Mark L. McKibbin has over 25 years of business development experience in manufactured products, engineering services, and distribution sales. His expertise includes sales and account management, market penetration planning, contract and statement of work review, proposal development, contract negotiation, project planning and execution. He has worked exclusively for small businesses and has significantly increased sales revenue and profitability.
McKibbin holds a BA from the University of San Francisco and continually helps organizations reach new levels of success throughout the United States and Canada.
